This is one of the last restaurants on the Red run (2) back into town, so we’d head here for the last drink of the day. In 1962 Othmar and Betty Kronig had this hut transported up from Zermatt. Since then it’s been a great place to stop off for a drink on the home run. The restaurant has a fish theme due to its links with Fireweed Lodge, Alaska. Surprisingly the ‘Fish Water’ schnapps is very drinkable with hints of apple. It can get very busy in the late afternoon so head here early if you want to grab a seat.
